Hillside Orchard Farms was started in 1983 as a small cannery in North East Georgia. We now have a 100 acre farm where we grow Apples, Blackberries, Muscadines, Pumpkins and more.

Hillside Orchard Farms in Rabun County is an enterprise of love for Robert and Patsy Mitchum. They’ve build a family farm and market, and turned it into an agritourism destination with fruits, jams, ciders and more. The Monitor’s Ray D’Alessio paid them a visit, and discovers why they say, “Come check out the farm, and get a taste of the mountains.”
