This October, the Old Montana Prison once again opens its cellhouse doors after dark for Terror in the Cellhouse: Unhinged—four nights of fear inside the walls of one of Montana’s most notorious historic prisons. Step inside and make your way through the darkened corridors, cells, and twisted scenes of the Old Prison, where you never know what—or who—is waiting around the next corner. Our scare actors are ready. The cellhouse is waiting. And once you enter, there’s only one way out. Think you can make it through? Terror in the Cellhouse is open to all ages, but guests under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Please be aware that the attraction includes darkness, loud noises, flashing lights, frightening scenes, and live scare actors. Event Information Dates: October 16, 17, 23 & 24, 2026 Hours: 6:00 PM – Midnight Admission: $10 per person Location: Old Montana Prison, Deer Lodge, Montana Tickets: Available at the Old Montana Prison Visitor Center on the nights of the event. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests will continue to be admitted throughout the event hours. As long as you are through the front doors of the Old Montana Prison Visitor Center by midnight on the nights of the events, you will be able to go through Terror in the Cellhouse. The prison has survived more than a century. The question is… will you survive one night?
